This is one of my "failures" that I finally managed to bring to some "intermediate" state when I am still not happy with the result but I already find it possible to share it. The drawing was started in MyPaint as an attempt to make a "pure painting" with no sketch, no line art, and possibly the only layer. Here is the final result of that attempt. I could move further but I got tired of it and totally unhappy with the process and the outcome. So I switched to Krita, cut the girl out of the brown background and made all the rest on 9 separate layers - what is more typical and more comfortable for me. The unusual (for me) feature of this picture is that all its layers still never had any sketches and line art. I experimented with some brushes. Actually, I did try similar experiments in Photoshop and I always returned to simple hard round brush for lines (thin) and for flats (thick), and simple airbrush for coloring. I could do the same in Krita but I decided to continue experimenting. As I mentioned above, I can't say I am satisfied with the result, but I have to try various things to escape from stagnation, right?
- The elves gladly and pretty skillfully climb the large trees. They are especially eager to climb the trees when they notice that I or my assistant are watching them. In general, they are willing to demonstrate us their skills and abilities. I asked my assistant to paint this picture, I am glad to admit that he is rather competent in drawing with the use of communicator/tablet gadgets.

- Drawing the girl in this perspective was quite challenging, but I am gradually getting accustomed to their behavior. I am sure they are intentionally flirting, no matter how unacceptable such behavior would seem to classical folkloric elves.
